What's Big Bee all about? Well, Big Bee was founded by myself, Rick Beton, and I've been working with Java for many many years and with Java Enterprise technology since the new millenium. I decided it was high time to expand the customer base and share what I'd learnt with other people who need it. That's why Big Bee was set up.

It's remarkable how Java has found such a strong place in the enterprise middle tier, and of course also a good thing that .NET is keeping people on their toes! Java Enterprise needs to evolve to match business needs better. That's where Spring comes in ... but more on that in later postings.

Big Bee exists as a consultancy providing Java Enterprise skills to businesses in the UK, although we're just working within the southern England region at the moment.
